Okay, so Bruce Bochy woke us up from this nightmare before Friday the 13th, but still. Fontenot? Batting third?
Then again, with Fontenot batting third, the Giants went 6-1 over that week. As a #3 hitter, he had a .865 OPS. His career OPS is .750. How did that happen?
Seriously, either Bruce Bochy is Nostradamus, he has a genie, or everything we believe we know about building effective lineups is just plain wrong.
I’ve have to slap myself every now and then, too. New thing you know Tejada will start hitting … oh, wait.
