 It’s not like the Giants could’ve timed Lincecum taking a pitch off the arm, but he was going to be headed out of the rotation one way or another, and it’s not like the list hasn’t been used for rather…dubious injuries.  Hudson’s removal seems timely, for sure, but he’s a stand-up guy and has been a great Giant.  We’ll see how this goes, especially once we see what Cain and Peavy do when they’re back.
