The Lunatic Fringe

It was nice to see the offense pick things up on Sunday, despite using an offense that seemed to be a rather unlikely lineup from what was expected in Spring Training…but it doesn’t change that this offense needs help.

When the pitchers provide some offense in a game, it’s cute.  It’s almost adorable.

When they provide the only offense in a week, it’s Defcon 2.

I don’t know what the fix is.  There’s no Buster Posey in the minors.  There’s no trades that obviously can be made.  The guys the Giants have just need to start playing better.

Except for Melky.  Melky’s doing just fine…I just hope this time, he can do it at home.
