Would we ever see Madison Bumgarner in a home run derby?

No, probably not.

It’s too bad, though.  Bumgarner is used to swinging for the fences in batting practice, and it wouldn’t screw up his swing.  And it probably wouldn’t screw up his pitching.

But hey, with baseball already changing things up with the time-limit version of the derby, who knows what else they might do to “spice” things up.
