Continuing a little be of character development from last week, before Sabean’s ridiculous budget announcements got us off track.

A few readers have been asking what’s up with Jamie and Nyssa, so…here’s the answer.  There aren’t many guys who haven’t been in such a situation at one point or another.

If you’re wondering what a romance-subplot is doing in a sports webcomic, it’s because ultimately, every sportsman gets a partner in life.  Sometimes they’re just as big fans as we are.  Sometimes they’re…not.  But don’t worry, this won’t turn into a soap opera.  We’ll leave that to Ryan Braun this offseason, who seems to want to make the entire offseason his own little drama.
