Yep, so everyone who was involved in that 2011 deal between the New York Mets and the San Francisco Giants are now on the Giants, and the two players traded to New York are back on rather inexpensive deals, at that.  Oh, and the Giants won the World Series.

So, LOL Mets.  Angel Pagan got pretty damn good when he came to the Giants, and both Andres Torres and Ramon Ramirez were pretty average (or worse) with them…although, to be fair, Torres had a rough 2011 and Ramirez is a reliever, so I can’t really say that players just suck when they play for the Mets.  Maybe they don’t get to be starting All-Star third basemen, but they can be okay over there…

On the other hand, the Mets do still have Zack Wheeler, and he just got named the #8 prospect in all of baseball by MLB.com.  And that Beltran guy didn’t really help the Giants much.  So I guess it all evens out a little bit.

Still got another World Series off of that trade.  So there.
