The Lunatic Fringe

Well, technically the Giants could still tie for the division title.  But the Dodgers would have to help us.  They’re honor-bound not to.  Kershaw won’t even face the Diamondbacks (of course), and Matt Kemp will shrivel back up into….whatever every other hitter on the Dodgers is.

So that leaves the Wildcard.  4 games back with six to play, behind two teams, and no games against either.

Put Pill, Belt, Crawford and hell, that Peguero kid all out there, and I don’t want to see Orlando Cabrera in the lineup again unless for some reasons he wants to do a curtain call at home.  Thanks for the .471 OPS for the Orange and Black.  At least you made the pitchers feel like they could actually hit better than a position player for once.
