I’m not saying that Ryan Vogelsong is absolutely done with the Giants, but…

I really don’t want to think about 2015 roster issues.  I really don’t.  It’ll make me sad.

But…at the same time, when he was being taken out after having a miniature meltdown after a bad play, and leaving having given up a big lead, it was in the back of my mind, and I stood up and gave him a heartfelt ovation, even if fans around me didn’t know why.

Maybe he’ll get a redemption chance as a reliever in the next few days, but….

The best story of redemption in a career I’ve ever seen might be in the past.

And that’s really kinda sad.

Okay, gotta get back to World Series mode…
