The Lunatic Fringe

I’m really upset at MLB for deciding that San Francisco fans can get a Monday afternoon off work, but St. Louis fans could have a 7 pm local start to host their game.  Because of this decision (and my days off work request getting turned down), I will miss my first playoff games at AT&T Park since 2002, when I was living in Los Angeles after college.

At least I know there’ll be at least one more home game.  Be it Tuesday, or the NLCS, or both, I’ll get to see the Giants again in person.

Still, the office of the commissioner sucks sometimes.

Also…I admit, there is a small part of me that wants to see the Dodgers in the NLCS.  A very small part.  A very sadomasochistic part.
