This is pretty much a true story. Last time I tried to get to the Parade. Decided to get to the train around 7:30 am with a friend, and meet others in the City to see the parade.
When we got to the Millbrae BART/Caltrain station, there was a line all around the upper platform before even getting down to any of the train platforms. We stood in line for over an hour and barely moved.
Eventually, we went home and watched the thing on TV.
This year, I’ll be at work, so it won’t matter. I wouldn’t be seeing it either way.
If you decide to go to the City, be safe. I’m posting this at about XXX am, so if you haven’t left yet…eh, it’s probably too late.
Enjoy the parade. When it’s done, it’s officially the offseason, and we get to start worrying about…well, everything.
