Yup, those Padres.

Even if the Colorado Rockies seem to wish they were our alternate rivals, I seem to have more disgust and worry about facing the Padres than the Rockies.  It’s weird.  It’s very rare that the Padres are a true threat to the Giants in the standings.  It happens maybe twice a decade?  And yet, they still find ways to take wins from the Giants, even when they suck.

Even their fans are more annoying than Dodgers fans, from my experiences moderating the ESPN message boards back in the day, and seeing people’s reactions on SBN’s boards.

Yea, I just don’t think I’ll ever get used to them.
