The Lunatic Fringe

The trade season this year will be more interesting than I’ve seen in a long time.

The A’s pretty much blew the trade price out of the water for everyone, especially for the Rays with David Price.

The Giants are a team that is streaky, one of the best of the league when everyone’s hot, and one of the worst when they aren’t.  Who do you replace?  Can we really judge Scutaro’s readiness?

And so many players are question marks.  Who is Cliff Lee this year?  Will he help a team?  Can the Phillies get anything by trading him?

And that’s all aside from the Oakland City Council, seemingly doing their best to try and drive away Major League Baseball from their city and county.

It’s going to be a weird couple of weeks.
