To be frank, I don’t care if anyone other than Giants and Pirates fans even had a clue of what his name was before this season.  I don’t care if he doesn’t have a track record.

On a staff of great pitchers, he’s become one of the league’s best stories.  It’s a redemption and underdog story, the kind baseball fans usually love.

So screw the east coast fans who think that the third-best pitcher on the Phillies/Braves/whoever is more deserving.  Vogelsong should be there.
