You’ve probably been overloaded by reactions to the most insulting umpire screw-up yet by now, so I’ll keep this suggestion simple.

Fire Angel Hernandez.  The dude has been involved in far too many blown calls and embarrassments to baseball.

And from now on, hold umpires accountable.  Umpiring should not be like a teacher with tenure.  If you don’t perform well, your job should be at risk.  Just like the rest of us.
