The Lunatic Fringe

Stanford always seems to be just *this* close to national title hopes, but something small gets in the way even though they’ll win the big games.  It’s a bit frustrating.

Of course, this is a world without playoffs, where a team can’t get hot at the right time and make a run.  If you have one bad loss…or for some teams (not Stanford, luckily), just not having a good enough schedule, you have no chance whatsoever to be a champion.

I cannot wait for playoffs to happen.
